Demonstrate a need  for adequate shelter.

Have ability to pay with income of
family of 1-4 = $15,240/yr ($1270/mo.)
   family of 5-8 = $18,034/yr ($1500/mo.)

Applicant(s) can not make more than this:
family of 1-3 = $24,384/yr. ($2030/mo.)
family of 4-5 = $31,496/yr. ($2625/mo.)
family of 6-8 = $37,592/yr. ($3130/mo.)


Depending on family size, be willing to  provide 200 to 500 hours of work  on the house in the form of "sweat equity".

Have a history of paying bills on time and have no burdensome debt.

Attend a series of home ownership classes.

Be a U. S. citizen or permanent resident.

Live or work within a 40 mile radius of the house.
